For waterproof or long-wear makeup, micellar water can still do the job – you just need to let it work its magic. We recommend pressing a saturated cotton pad onto the area for ~10 seconds to soak and loosen the product, then wiping gently. This gives the micelles time to break down those more stubborn formulas. You might need a second round for very heavy eye makeup, but you’ll find that you don’t have to harshly rub or scrub. Many customers have reported that our micellar water works as well as their dedicated makeup removers – without the greasy residue. For extremely waterproof stage or FX makeup, you might follow up with a cleansing wash, but for most day-to-day needs, our micellar water has you covered.
Do I need to rinse my face after using this micellar water?
